Ford Windstar?

[edit]

What kind of pimp drives a Ford Windstar?--Folksong 06:38, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uhhhh...

[edit]

No pimp drives a Ford Windstar!!! I'm going to remove that one..... Karnak 18:07, 7 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The pictured pimpmobile actually seems a bit understated. Could we find something a bit more outrageous? -Toptomcat 19:04, 11 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'll look through my picture collection; the illustration is one of my images, but probably not my best on this topic. Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 22:17, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

All Show, No Go

[edit]

If its just customizing the look, rather than its performance, then that's just, stupid, isn't it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by JZX100 (talkcontribs) 02:17, 6 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Only if you consider performance the only reason to customize an automobile. In my opinion, not correct. I personally think it's rather pathetic to make a vehicle look like a high-performance vehicle yet not actually increase its performance, but that's not what those who make "pimpmobiles" are doing. Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 23:21, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but it is kind of weird why. I mean, I'm a young driver, I only like Aftermarket parts seen on Scions, which is nice, but this is just pushing it. JZX100 04:57, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Eh, no. Rice burners just push it. They watch Fast and the Furious, leave the movie theater, get into their mom's Honda Civic, and go "Holy crap, I own a race car". Then proceed to put a yellow fiberglass spoiler on the aluminum trunk of their blue front wheel drive car. Pimpmobiles can look decent. A Honda Civic with a body kit and a spoiler... doesn't. Ever. EVER. Ahanix1989 06:25, 10 March 2007 (UTC) (Proudly sporting a V8 in his car)[reply]

use of 'Imports'.

[edit]

I don't think Imports as is used is correct for an international encyclopedia. At no point inthe article does it specifically say its an american phenomenon (Which it is) or that pimpmobiles should by default be american cars it mentions specific brands and city's but not America or American cars as a specific. I bring this up because where I am a Roller isn't an Import and if I was in Germany a Benz wouldn't be. I've changed it to 'non-American cars' but it doesn't read well, can someone think of something better?(Morcus (talk) 16:29, 1 September 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Archetypal?

[edit]

For an "archetypal" pimpmobile, that car is in surprisingly good taste. Varlaam (talk) 14:06, 12 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pimpmobile One

[edit]

Term has been thrown around since 2009. Any idea what that means? 69.143.110.86 (talk) 21:24, 2 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
