In The News Nomination[edit]

Just a heads up to editors of this article that it has been nominated by User:Osarius to be placed into the In The News box on the front page of Wikipedia. You can leave a comment with your opinion here: In The News Candidates - ChieftanTartarus (talk) 13:32, 25 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can the editor who added Hither Green rail crash to the See Also section please explain how that crash is related to this crash or why it should be in that section (or the article at all) ?,
The HG crash isn't mentioned in the article (and Pioltello isn't mentioned at Hither Green),
Seems nonsensical to include it. Cheers, –Davey2010Talk 14:47, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Davey2010: - that was me! I added it because the cause was the same, a broken rail at a track joint. Mjroots (talk) 15:24, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Mjroots, Ah crap I'm so sorry I didn't know it was you!, I don't mind reverting but shouldn't there be some sort of text next to it saying why it's related ? i suppose it could have it's own section too on both articles but just having it as a see also in my eyes is silly as the reader isn't going to know why it's related :), Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 15:35, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Partly my fault for not explaining. I'll re-add with an explanation and cross link from the Hither Green crash. Mjroots (talk) 15:40, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Mjroots Brilliant thank you :), –Davey2010Talk 15:42, 28 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
