I prefer to fix articles rather than just adding a template, but this is a rather egregious case! I'll try to fix this up in the next couple weeks, but it will likely require significant cuts, as large portions of this article are just promotional copy without any sources. For example, under the "Science Program" subheading:

"The science program aims to dismantle artificial institutional barriers between the arts and sciences, and in the process, to fuse technology, imagination, and experimental rigor. The program at Pioneer Works reunites the arts and sciences to help place particular problems into a broader cultural context. For example, how can we best understand the implications of modern genetics and rapidly evolving technology upon learning, the environment and social communication? A purely scientific model may not provide a complete response."

There are no sources for any of this, and I would argue it strays rather far from the expected subject and tone of the article. – Knifegames (talk) 12:36, 26 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tackling this now & making extensive cuts; I'll add notes here as seems necessary.
  • "85% of its funds are spent on free programming" –– I found a PW-published document from 2020 using this 85% statistic in reference to "free and affordable programs," but there's no indication of what that means or to whom it's affordable (and no data or dollar amounts). // Knifegames (talk) 18:40, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've only been able to find details concerning damage sustained during Sandy in this blog post, which appears to just be paraphrasing parts of this Wikipedia page (which pre-dated it). // Knifegames (talk) 21:49, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The majority of other cuts were to what clearly sounded like press copy; while there are still portions that could use additional citations, I'm removing the template. // Knifegames (talk) 22:40, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
