@DagosNavy: I note that you move the page from Pisagua prison camp to Pisagua prisoner-of-war camp on the grounds that that was the better translation. Looking at your user page, your knowledge of languages is much better than mine, but based on the content of the articles I wonder whether "prisoner of war" is a misleading title when used in English. As you know, sometimes the best translation isn't literal; most of the history seems to fit with a political detention center, but perhaps Pisagua prison camp (the older title) is a better compromise? @Klbrain: Hi Kibrain, thanks for your suggestion, I was deceived by the internment of enemy aliens during WWII, but I overlooked the fact that Ibáñez del Campo, González Videla and Pinochet used the facilities to confine political prisoners (my mistake). I will restore the old article's name immediately, Best Regards.--Darius (talk) 22:40, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
P/S: Unfortunately I can't revert because ""Pisagua prison camp" is now a redirect page. I think a better choice is "Pisagua internment camp", since "prison" has a legal connotation incompatible with the status of a political prisoner. Let me know if you agree.---Darius (talk) 22:54, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@DagosNavy: The move to Pisagua internment camp sounds great to me. By the way, even though we can't merge directly move a page back to a redirect, we could do so through a requested technical move: see WP:RM#TR. In any case, I think that your proposal to move to "Pisagua internment camp" is the best idea. Klbrain (talk) 12:03, 29 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
