Does anyone find it strange that there are no toys based on Ceres or Eris? Pluto's status as a dwarf planet is even acknowledged in the packaged-in cartoon, and yet they make Planet Heroes for "Star", "Asteroid", and "Moon" before making one for our two newest planets. Why do you think this is happening? 72.75.98.110 (talk) 16:13, 25 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Now they need to make one of Ceres, Makemake, and Eris —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.155.230.246 (talk) 23:29, 15 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Honestly, while I can appreciate the desire for seeing the newer dwarf planets added to this interesting toy line, I doubt it's going to happen any time soon. The "nine planets" exist as a cultural phenomon above and beyond thier scientific reality. The target market for these toys in in many ways the parents of the children who will play with them. In all likelyhood, these parents learned about the nine planets in school and so will expect the toy line to agree with what they know.

Still, it would be kinda cool though. Karatorian (talk) 01:17, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
