Some food for thought[edit]
According to:
- the Plant List page on Plantago nivalis, this species is unresolved;
- IPNI has two entries published by two separate authors around the same time (see here) (Boissier's Voyage botanique dans le midi de l'Espagne was published in 2 volumes between 1839-1845; Jordan's publication for the name was in 1846 in Observations sur Plusiers Plantes Nouvelles Rare ou Critiques de la France...);
- Kew World Checklist (search for Plantago nivalis here) turned up nothing at all. (Neither GRIN, nor Tropicos have anything either.)
So, I'm uncertain who should be placed as the binomial authority in the taxobox. Does anyone have a good way of editing this? Hamamelis (talk) 13:51, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
