actually, "no.1" refers to one of the three separate publications separated by voice type (no.1 in A flat, no.2 in G; no.3 in F) (Library of Congress Copyright) (such publication in simultaneous separate voice types was common, though use of separate sub-opus numbers to refer to them wasn't, especially.)
