Stope functions[edit]

This appears to be the same thing as the stope functions (or simply stopes) introduced by Kenneth E. Iverson (named by analogy with wikt:stope). See his books Math for the Layman (1999) and p58 of Concrete Math Companion (2002). Both precede the paper cited on this page. Qwfp (talk) 11:42, 20 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
