Kreg

[edit]

Sounds like the same stuff I hear on those Kreg ads. Anyone know about the Kreg jig and see them advertising in late night/early morning paid programs? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.56.196.133 (talk) 04:28, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I bought the Kreg jig system (pocket hole system), and I used it this weekend for a project. It worked great! Has all the benefits listed on this Wikipedia page (I wouldn't be surprised if the manufacturers made the page, haha). But what they said was true, it was quick, easy, and holds without clamping while glue dries. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.134.139.70 (talk) 18:45, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Jigs/Technique

[edit]

I plan to add more information on jigs and how they are used. It is important to describe the process that is used to create these joints. I am also going to add some technique used for creating strong pocket hole joints. Dlitt55 (talk) 23:13, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Strength

[edit]

Under the drawbacks heading, the page says that pocket hole joints are weaker than other joints. However, during all of my research I have found that these joints are actually relatively strong. I plan to change this information to make it more correct. Dlitt55 (talk) 23:26, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Screws

[edit]

I added a section that describes the importance of using pocket screws for strong joints, and what types of threads work beast for different wood. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dlitt55 (talkcontribs) 00:21, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
