I've reverted the insertion of an unsourced and nonsensical category. The edit summary accompanying the insertion states:

(rev- according to the article: The Polish Anti-Religious Campaign was initiated by the communist government in Poland which, under the doctrine of Marxist–Leninist atheism, attempted to abolish religion and build an atheistic society)

Yes, it says that, but it says nothing about the category inserted, which was "Persecution by atheists". It also requires a reliable source. Xenophrenic (talk) 12:31, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Marxist–Leninist atheism is a part of the wider Marxist–Leninist philosophy (the type of Marxist philosophy found in the Soviet Union), which was Atheist irreligious and anti-clerical. Marxism–Leninism advocates the abolition of religion and the acceptance of atheism. In addition, Marxist-Leninist scientific atheism purports to explain "the origin of religion", as well as what it teaches to be "scientific criticism of it". So their persecution acts fell under persecution by atheists category.--Jobas (talk) 12:50, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
which was Atheist irreligious - huh? That's not a thing. Source, please. They were indeed anti-clerical, and no one is arguing that they weren't. Marxist-Leninist scientific atheism purports to explain "the origin of religion", as well as what it teaches to be "scientific criticism of it" - okay, so? We're not talking about that, we're talking about persecution by atheists. Can you please provide a source to support the category? Xenophrenic (talk) 12:55, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • See the WP:LOWERCASE policy guideline (quote): "words are not capitalized unless they would be so in running text." Poeticbent talk 20:03, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What about other churches/religions?

[edit]

Any religion was manipulated, some were supported against Roman Catholics, but many leaders were recruited by political police.Xx236 (talk) 12:42, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Removal? =

[edit]

This article is extremely one-sided, and mostly just repeats right-wing propaganda. I'd argue it should be removed altogether. Trasz (talk) 19:02, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
