Missing Attorneys General

[edit]

This page says that no office of the Attorney General existed early on; the Journal of the Executive has Lincoln appointing George C. Hough in 1864 to be AG of the Idaho Territory. http://books.google.com/books?id=TF8UAAAAYAAJ&lpg=PA392&ots=hM2sqxB9-K&dq=George%20C%20Hough%20%22Attorney%20general%22&pg=PA1#v=onepage&q=Idaho&f=false . I cannot figure out how to add him without messing up the formatting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.165.112.160 (talk) 16:41, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Very late reply, but George C Hough was nominated to be a US Attorney, not to fill a state office of Idaho Attorney General. Not quite the same thing, so the table is correct. Etamni | ✉   18:53, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
