On 17 October 2022, it was proposed that this article be moved from Political revolution to Political revolution (Trotskyism). The result of the discussion was moved.

Why the emphasis on Trotsky?[edit]

Why is this article so focused on Trotksy's views on the subject? That seems highly misguided and inappropriate. Countless authors have written on political revolutions. Michipedian (talk) 01:13, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Political revolution → Political revolution (Trotskyism) – "Political revolution" is a term which has been used by many different ideologies: a brief search for the term on Google Books gives me books about Iranian politics, fascism, anti-colonialism and Bernie Sanders.
