Add infoboxes to the player articles found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/requested infoboxes

Cricket people

Create articles about 19th century players who are listed in Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/19th century players
Create biographies about Bangladeshi players from the task force redlink list
Check the listing of key bios at Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket/Key biographies and improve these to at least B-class.
Create batting/bowling graphs for cricketers who have excelled in international cricket.
Create articles for redlinks present here and here

Domestic cricket coverage is needed for Bangladesh, Canada, Kenya, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe;

Text and/or other creative content from this version of Poloc Cricket Club was copied or moved into Shawholm with this edit on 09:05, 31 October 2016. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.

I have to admit I think this is notable enough. I woudl suggest trying to rewrite it a little to assert notability and wikifying it. I don't think it is really advertising. There are many articles like this on wikiepdia, ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ ^"Talk"? 19:41, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article split[edit]

I have created an article for the Shawholm ground on the basis that it is notable in its own right, having staged first-class matches. The "Historic moments" section that was formerly here forms the basis of the new article, as that section provided details of notable matches payed at Shawholm, but mainly not involving Poloc CC directly. I have retained details of the 1955 televised match, as this did involve the club. Jellyman (talk) 09:25, 31 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
