Question

[edit]

The article states Built in 1929, it was used as a meetinghouse for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints until 2019. Although ambiguous, it could be understood to mean that it was an LDS meetinghouse from 1929 to 2019. If that is the case, it should be explicitly so stated. If it is not the case, then it would be appropriate to mention what group built this edifice, when it came into the LDS church's possession, and possibly any other intermediate organizations. Reference 2 indicates that the building at this location was used by the LDS church in 1952. Reference 4 to google news seems incorrectly formatted as it displays no reference to this building. The reference in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Oregon § History indicates that a new LDS chapel was opened in Portland in 1929, but it would seem to have been a much less grand edifice than this one.
