Ao ÆTATIS XXX
[edit]I've not got any specific interest in this article or Latin (I'm only passing by), but would've thought it best to provide a translation of the text on the portrait. It seems very relevant to the dating of when it was done, though I only found that out after having translated it myself.
Is the text "Amico optimo aetatis XXX" in full or does "Ao" stand for something else? If so, does it translate something along the lines of "[One of] my best friend[s], at the age of 30" ? (broadly speaking)
