"the sitter"?

[edit]

What does Wikipedia mean by "the sitter"? surely there is a better title for the artist's subject than this? JointCompound (talk) 02:58, 24 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Gustav Klimt is a zombie?

[edit]

Can somebody explain this section?

In February 1925 Adele died of meningitis.[55] Shortly afterwards Gustav filed for probate; he included a document that stated that the clause in the will was precatory, i.e. a request rather than a binding testament.

How can Gustav Klimt have filed for probate if he died in 1918? Was this meant to be Ferdinand, rather than Gustav? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.241.62.137 (talk) 22:21, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
