Terminology

This is the same section <Terminology>, now edited to remove equivocation of potassium chloride and potassium carbonate. For discussion, it does not clarify to use a word to define itself, and if KCl may be included under terminology as meaning "potash" in any sense, then calling KCl the chloride of potash is a mistake. FWIW, it's a continuing mistake, forgivable for the farmers who used it, but not for Wikipedia, nowadays, imo. So I did not "correct" the old usage, but accounted for it in my last edited line above the table. The old naming was not based on modern chemical knowledge, but the prospect of having Wiki present Potash (aka:KCl?) + HCl - - > KCl is ludicrous.

I trust I have made a sensible, minimalist edit to improve clarity. This <talk> comment is solely to explain the edit. William A. Hoffman (talk) 19:16, 2 June 2020 (UTC)William A. Hoffman III
