Confusing[edit]

I am very confused by this article. The first paragraph explains that Charles V split the Habsburg lands between Phillip II and Ferdinand I. The second paragraph then immediately says "A succession crisis was clearly looming", refers to the upcoming death of Charles II, and talks about the "union of French and Spanish dominions".

Pragmatic sanction 1713 or 1723?[edit]

Are we sure that the pragmatic sanction occured in 1713? Everywhere else i have read has cited 1723 as the date...

Frederick I[edit]

Are we sure that Frederick I of Prussia was involved with the Pragmatic Sanction, rather than Frederick William? Given that Frederick I died in February 1713 while the Charles only announced the edict in April 1713. 2404:8000:1002:B3A9:A5C7:33C0:F8CF:D7AB (talk) 23:55, 13 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
