Rebranding of NMIT to Melbourne Polytechnic

[edit]

This educational institution is undergoing a rebranding and repositioning to Melbourne Polytechnic. See Mumbrella, 17 October, 2014 [1], and Herald Sun article from October 2014 [2]. I propose that this article is renamed as Prahran campus of Melbourne Polytechnic and the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE is renamed as Melbourne Polytechnic (Prahran campus is being subsumed into the Institutes formal structure). A redirect should be put in place for Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE to Melbourne Polytechnic. The TAFE template will need to be updated as well as some of the descriptive text on the Prahran campus page and Melbourne Polytechnic page to place this rebranding and repositioning in suitable context.
