Creation[edit]

Just started the article, too tired to finish it tonight... I'll get back to it tomorrow. I would like to expand this further and ensure NPOV by talking about the benefits of PPD-25; its also hard for me to do that because I spent a whole year debating why PDD-25 was the worst thing ever created, but I will try my best. I am also going to see if there are other significant executive orders that need articles made. It would be cool to make a whole new section of articles dedicated to the topic. Use in Fiction Novel "Deception Point"[edit]

In Vince Flynn's novel, Deception Point, he states the following: 'Presidential Decision Directive 25 (PDD 25) grants Delta Forces “freedom from all legal accountability,” including exception from the 1876 Posse Comitatus Act - a statute imposing criminal penalties for anyone using the military for personal gain, domestic law enforcement, or unsanctioned covert operations.'

There is no support that this text comes from PDD 25, although his exact wording has spread throughout the internet as if it were "gospel truth". Given the limited but conflicting information available about PDD 25, Flynn's text is most likely an author's invention. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Oleh77 (talkcontribs) 10:16, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
