What happened to it?[edit]

The article seems to end in the air. It says the presidio "officially ceased to exist"; does that mean it was demolished? Converted to another use? Sold? Also, The map link goes to a plaza in San Antonio; is there any trace of the Presidio left? Does the plaza cover the entire site of the presidio, or was that just the central square? Anybody know?
