I intend to expand this article to include both pneumatic and hydraulic pressure switches and to re-name it Pressure switch. Biscuittin (talk) 15:08, 22 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

a preesure switch is the switch that makes contact to operate another device(valve)whenever its supply pressure reaches its set point.

I think the brake light example should be removed, because brake lights are switched on by a pedal position sensor. Cheapie (talk) 16:00, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Square D

In rural Australia the Square D pressure switch is ubiquitous. I have two, one on my rainwater pump and the other on my bore pump, and most (probably all) of my neighbours have the same. I'll contribute some photos. Andrewa (talk) 10:54, 8 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
