Keep Seperate[edit]

These two PRIDE events are indeed a single event with two parts; however, since the first round and the finals occurred over a period of several months, on two separate dates, for reference purposes, it should be kept as it is. Sherdog's and Full Contact Fighter's FightFinder both list these two dates individually, and further, the DVD was originally released the same way, only recently to have been joined in a 3-disc Special Edition. Some of the Grand Prix's run over three individual events, with ancillary matches occurring throughout and usually separated by months. In addition, "Bushido" events were held between rounds of the Grand Prix's. SJBenoist 02:29, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

2 is the way 2 go. 2 different dates says it all. if there were 7 different dates then i could see a possibility 2 merge. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.247.68.66 (talk) 00:39, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

The two PRIDE Grand Prix 2000 events are actually closer to being a single event with two parts, as such I believe the Grand Prix should be covered like 2006 NBA Finals with a single article rather than (up to) seven different articles. It makes more sense to cover the beginning and end of an event in one article. After merging, the article would be renamed 2000 PRIDE Grand Prix. I am proposing similar merges for all other PRIDE Grands Prix. hateless 01:45, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:PRIDE 2000.jpg[edit]

Image:PRIDE 2000.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
