Janary 2006

[edit]

Some sources indicated that his 2005 season was also cut short by injury...Ranma9617 06:32, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is true. Holmes was injured this year that made him lose the last half of this season. [1] In fact, the injury might have made him lose his starting job consider his backup, Larry Johnson was voted to this year's NFL all star game during Holme's absence. Too tired to edit the article. --J. Nguyen 06:44, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2007 Comeback Bid?

[edit]

Priest is attempting a comeback bid despite the spinal injury sustained in 2005. One ref: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/trainingcamp07/news/story?id=2981922 - Ageekgal 04:17, 26 August 2007 (UTC) (same graduating class @ Marshall as Priest Holmes; nice guy!)[reply]

There seems to be a fair amount of false information on this page, it would be nice if it were to be reassessed and cleaned up.--24.28.166.68 (talk) 23:59, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Priest Holmes post football

[edit]

I suck at editing these articles, so I'll leave that to someone smarter than I, but if you want to include a section on what Priest Holmes is doing today, I can tell you he lives in San Antonio, TX and is co-owner of a local popular bar called Area 31. The "31" is a reference to Holmes's number with the Kansas City Chiefs. That is all explained in this article from the San Antonio Business Journal: http://www.bizjournals.com/sanantonio/stories/2009/06/08/story4.html .

I also know I've seen him a few times on Channel 4, WOAI, (NBC affiliate for SA) doing "Sports Sunday" with local sports show host Don Harris. I tried seeing if I could find a link about that on WOAI's website but have failed. However, I DID find a link to some articles about what Priest has been doing here in SA: http://www.woai.com/search/sitesearch.aspx?q=Priest+Holmes .
