Historical rankings of Prime Ministers

[edit]

I have tried to add this section to the article, but a user is constantly reverting (See here my edit) It consists of two polls asking the public on who was the best Prime Minister among the seven most recent ones. The polls were made by newspaper i and polling agency Pitagórica, in 2012 and 2014, and produced very similar results, which I consider worthwile and interesting for this article. I could not find the number of pollees for the 2012 poll but the 2014 one had 506 pollees. A user is reverting considering that 500 pollees is not reliabe or relevant, but electoral polls in Portugal are not much bigger (typically between 600 and 1,000) and there have been polls for the 2015 elections with as little as 200 pollees. It could be argued that other pages on PM do not have these types of rankings but that happens because there are pages exclusively talking on historical rankings of political leaders which include opinion polls to the public (e.g. Historical rankings of Chancellors of Germany, Historical rankings of Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom). Because there are only 2 opinion polls (and I could not find a ranking by historians) it is not justified to create a separate page, but I think it is worthwile to incorporate a section like this in this article. It is not intended to be a static section. Eventual future polls or (ideally) rankings by historians should be added and if we start getting many classifications, then a separate page could be created.

Note: I based this section in the articles about historical rankings of other heads of government. So, although the title is Historical rankings what is there are only opinion polls, but I think that is clearly stated on the text. Other pages also have the title historical rankings and in this proposed section, the title is preparing for the inclusion of future rankings by historians. By the way, the paragraph before the two polls is not my interpretation, is based on the 2014 news article from i. 2001:8A0:ED19:DA01:5C8D:5273:3830:88A8 (talk) 10:31, 3 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Prime mimister can visit other countires as a short trip. Is that true? I thunk portuguese prime minister is just like parliamentarian prime minister where they have enormous defacto powers.2404:8000:1027:85F6:E14B:617F:7BA4:30B (talk) 17:30, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
