So tell me: Why does the succession box list Henry V of France as an Orleanist claimant? Septentrionalis 13:38, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Because the Orleanists in the 1870s recognised Chambord's claim to the throne as senior, in return for Chambord recognising the Orleanist succession. Or something similar. Lines of succession are often far more convoluted than they first appear. Timrollpickering 17:10, 12 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
