Globalization of the article

As it stands when I type this, the examples and the references (with the exception of dictionary references) are based around Indian practises.

Although I am by no means an expert in this area, I would have thought that this principle is common throughout most of the work (in practise if not in law).

I feel that this article needs to be globlized to reflect this (otherwise the lead section should mention that this is the legal/practical situation in India, but I would think that would be inappropriate for an article in the English Wikipedia, which is a world-wide encyclopedia), and if possible references should be found in other areas of the world - including the U.K., the U.S., the European Union, etc.

If this is purely an Indian practise, then perhaps this article would be better placed on the Hindi Wikipedia, which with (as I type) 42,716 article (making it the 47th biggest according to WikiStats by S23) is in need of expansion. -- PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 21:33, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for taking out time to read and comments on talk page of article 'no-work-no-pay'.I have attempted to improve the article as suggested by you.Added few international instances which I could find on Google search. It appears that the practice is prevalent in most of the countries. however, I am yet to find instnces in the US and the UK. pls give further suggestions. regards.59.94.243.52 (talk) 05:37, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
