A real print Wikipedia[edit]

I do a fair amount of redirect categorization, so I'm used to seeing the text in the documentation of {{R printworthy}} and its ilk: "At some point in the future, Jimmy Wales wants to make more printed versions of Wikipedia encyclopedia articles." If we can find a reliable source to back that up, I think it's worth noting in this article. Even though it's about a work of art, I think it would be good to say something to the effect of "This might happen for real one day". Still, IMO this project shows the complete infeasibility of a print Wikipedia that hasn't been mercilessly abridged, which would severely limit its usefulness. --BDD (talk) 16:24, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting. I understand from the Denny gallery owner that Jimmy Wales stopped by the see the exhibit.--Nowa (talk) 17:08, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Text only or with images?[edit]

It should be made clear whether this is a text-only print of Wikipedia, or one which includes images. I tried to track this down, but it was surprisingly difficult. Amaurea (talk) 17:22, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It's text only and there are no references.--Nowa (talk) 19:14, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
