translated[edit]

I translated much of this from the German wiki, so it's obviously not perfect. Any additional info/help would be appreciated! Morhange (talk) 07:53, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

scope[edit]

The phrase "Germany's formerly reigning royal houses" is ambiguous. Does it mean only those with the title of 'king'? Does it include mediatized houses? And so on. —Tamfang (talk) 01:28, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You raise a good point, I would of assumed it applies to the families that ruled until 1918 and that is what the German article says. This article refers to Eberhard von Urach, who was not a member of formerly reigning family, and implies the rule also applies to him which is perhaps incorrect. - dwc lr (talk) 14:21, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Rights?[edit]

."...the members of the former German nobility continued to enjoy the rights they had prior to the abolition of the monarchy in 1918."

What rights? If it is left like this, it suggests that nothing had chnaged since 1918 which is certainly incorrect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.6.201.138 (talk) 11:47, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
