Birds of Prey Tv Serie

[edit]

I don't know if it is worth mentioning it, but in the sixth episode of Birds of Prey (Primal Scream) one of the criminals of a animal masked gang wears a pig with a monocle mask (the only mask that wears more than the only mask). It seems a reference to Professor Pyg. Here you can find more info (the only info I found, besides the episode, that I watched myself) Akhran (talk) 11:31, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The link with the mention and a picture: http://comicsalliance.com/birds-of-prey-episode-six-primal-scream/ Akhran (talk) 11:46, 25 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Akhran: It isn't notable unless it's actually the character. Considering the character wasn't created yet when the show was on the air, I'm afraid we can't add it. DarkKnight2149 20:41, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dick Grayson

[edit]

Stop changing Batman (Dick Grayson) to Batman (Bruce Wayne). Dick Grayson was Batman at this point in the comics history. You aren't correcting anything, and everyone on the face of the Earth already knows that Bruce Wayne is the original Batman (including people with zero interest in comic books). If it was Bruce Wayne, we wouldn't bother with the parenthesis and no one would mistake him for Dick Grayson...

At this point, the link has been smothered in hidden notes directly pointing this out and specifically stating not to change it to "Bruce Wayne". But for some reason, random users still routinely show up, ignore all of it, and change it to Bruce Wayne (who was dead) anyway. In a few instances, this piece of misinformation has gone unnoticed in the article for months at a time.

I'm thinking about requesting an edit filter next time it happens, since it's not frequent enough for an administrator to semi-protect the article, but too frequent to not do anything about it. When User:Darkknight2149/Professor Pyg is eventually completed, hopefully this won't be an issue anymore. DarkKnight2149 20:02, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

  • supervillain is overlinked in the lead.
  • "that lead him' led.
  • infobox has him as plain old "criminal" but the lead says he's a supervillain.
  • " have "A gimmick. " sentence case.
  • "in Batman #1" I don't know what comic MOS convention is but this is currently breaking across two lines, I would make a non-breaking space between comic title and number.
  • Robin is overlinked.
  • " rogues' gallery" I'm not sure why you're obfuscating "list of enemies".
  • "#43-44" en-dash.
  • No need to link New York City.
  • Beware The Batman and Gotham are overlinked.
  • "wire mother" redirects to Harry Harlow which is also linked in the same sentence.
  • "material.[68][64][62]" order?
  • Are all of those See also links really necessary?
  • Avoid SHOUTING in the ref titles.
  • Spaced hyphens in ref titles etc should be en-dashes.

That's it. A very decent and comprehensive article. The Rambling Man (Staying alive since 2005!) 13:06, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for taking a look, TRM. I believe I've addressed your concerns. Argento Surfer (talk) 13:25, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
