Proposed merger to Salyut 6 EO-1

This merger was originally proposed here, but consensus was not reached. Salyut 6 EO-1 is the name of the space mission (Dec 1977 to Mar 1978) during which the Progress 1 spacecraft was launched and later destroyed (Jan 1978 to Feb 1978). All of the content which currently appears in the Progress 1 article is now in the EO-1 article. I should point out that one user retired because I made the redirect without consensus. This is premature and was being handled within the project. Also, as the first spacecraft of the series, it is inherently notable and should remain. The expedition article should not include everything from this article due to this caveat. -MBK004 02:28, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Another thing, you are being disingenuous, the only reason for the overlap is that you copied the content from Progress 1 to Salyut 6 EO-1 just so you could make this argument. That is bad faith negotiating there, which is part of why you caused the retirement. -MBK004 02:33, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I acted in good faith. I truly believe wikipedia is better this way.. Mlm42 (talk) 02:42, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I advise this RfC is closed, and discussion moved back to the main thread at WP:HSF - the RfC should be for the general discussion, not specifically here. Colds7ream (talk) 09:46, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, that sounds like a good plan. (I'm not familiar with RfC's..) Mlm42 (talk) 15:13, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
