"Lustration"

[edit]

Might I suggest the use of the term "purge from political office" instead of "lustration". Lustration is a slang term, and has little or no meaning in Russia - where "lustration" of Communists was supposedly undertaken, but meant precisely nothing, since almost none were purged.Royalcourtier (talk) 01:35, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If anyone is willing to spend an hour or two to make the History section more interesting and informative

[edit]

Here is the raw material I added to the article Alexei Navalny: Talk:Progress Party (Russia)/Copypaste. The article on Navalny has much of it, but will lose some info over time; in a separate subpage of a talk page (of another article), it is safe and can be used for this article.--R8R (talk) 00:53, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

New alliance

[edit]

Didn't the Progress Party recently form an alliance with the People's Freedom Party and a handful of other liberal groups? How come there's no mention of that here? Charles Essie (talk) 14:12, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I saw this comment a while ago, and didn't reply because I thought it was too late. Now I'll give it a try: The thing is, surely they did. Yet the whole Progress Party is over (for now, at least, and it wasn't actually ever all that active in the actual political life of Russia, although it was a potential upstart). You may update the article, and I encourage you to do so, yet this will take a while (fifteen minutes, half an hour, a whole hour, maybe two) and will basically provide no result -- like, hardly anyone even reads this article these days (530 times in the last 30 days. less than 20 per day) -- which is why I won't do this myself (myself, I got a heavier burden on me, Alexei Navalny, and I have little resources to work on it; drop a comment if you want to team up, which will help it). So if you don't do it, chances are, no one will.--R8R (talk) 20:03, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Ideology" section

[edit]

"Anti-Corruption" point in "Ideology" graph currently leads to some unknown and irrelevant movie. It should redirect to this page - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_corruption#Opposing_corruption - instead. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.104.198.252 (talk) 10:34, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merger with Russia of the Future

[edit]

Merge The membership, leadership and most of the aspects are the same, the sole difference in practice is the name. --Ivario (talk) 12:07, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
