Talk:Progressive Student Network

When I searched the internet in 1997 looking for a good name for the group I was starting at Notre Dame, "Progressive Student Alliance" was the most common name for a mult-issue student activist group (with "progressive student" being the most popular two keywords). I think the same is probably true today. The organic level of popularity of the name is very interesting.

I know of a long list of groups with that name, probably the majority of which came up with it on their own. For instance both New Jersey and Idaho have state networks that chose the Progressive Student Alliance name, completely independent of PSN.

General US Student Activism History[edit]

It might be nice to have a general page for US student activism history. Perhaps a nice timeline starting with the Intercollegiate Socialist Society in 1905?
