Can someone who knows how change the article title?[edit]

Tripp Eisen contributions[edit]

It appears a few new accounts - almost certainly connected to the band, are attempting to remove all mention of Tripp Eisen from the article. This is not appropriate at all. As I mentioned on their talk pages, the band themselves is free to distance themselves from him in their own promotional materials and what not, but Wikipedia is not a promotional tool, and they are not to alter Wikipedia on those grounds.

They've also removed content on the grounds that Eisen "is lying", but the content present generally doesn't make the claim that he's correct, it just makes the claim that he said it.

There's room to tweak wording or rework parts, but you can't just remove every mention of him when there's all this reliable source coverage related to his commentary on the album.

I'm happy to work with editors to come to a common ground on how to handle things. But if editors just try to strong-arm their way through things, ignoring policy just to get their way - that's not going to work. Sergecross73 msg me 01:43, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Even after I created this article a few years ago and basically forgot it existed not long after, I have to say speaking generally, I dislike any attempt at censorship and the subject of an article or their management (or whomever is claiming to be them or their management) trying to remove anything they don't like from articles. I've seen it in all areas—from artists who are treating Wikipedia as a collective entity trying to "rob" or "cheat" them out of credit that they feel they rightfully deserve so they should be entitled to add unsourced material, to people trying to censor their own birth name from articles because they only want readers to know their stage name. So I'm in agreement with this. Reading it over, it's quite neutral and its inclusion doesn't mean we're endorsing Eisen's claims. Ss112 06:45, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
