Comment: 1.There should be good news sources to support each of the various state actions in section 3. Those will be enough to show notability . 2.Probably every individual alone mentioned in the List which does not already have an article should have one. 3. the rather short text of the amendment is not "a wall of text" but is necessary to explain the subject . 4. This is more than a "historical footnote". WP is not an abridged encyclopedia.

I intend to accept this, but I want to find a newspaper article or two first. DGG ( talk ) 05:15, 26 May 2018 (UTC)

Comment: With few cites to actually attest to this proposed amendment's notability, it appears to remain a historical footnote that, while not notable enough for an article by itself, can nevertheless be included somehow. Kiteinthewind Leave a message! 07:45, 25 December 2017 (UTC)

Comment: Wikipedia is not a repository for historical speeches. It is also not a newspaper. There's an idea for an article here, but the huge walls of text need to be removed. wia (talk) 21:52, 7 April 2015 (UTC)

Comment: notable topic. Should be added to List_of_proposed_amendments_to_the_United_States_Constitution#21st_century_proposals Legacypac (talk) 14:19, 26 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

I can find no independent coverage establishing notability of this constitutional proposal. Not every proposed constitutional amendment is notable, there are roughly 50-100 proposals by members of congress every year. Any thoughts? Work permit (talk) 00:18, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
