Talk:Proto-Iroquoian language

Hey! I saw that Proto-Iroquoian has no page, unlike a lot of other reconstructed proto languages of North America, so I decided to make one. Chiefly I used Julian 2011 as my source, since he provides a complete reconstruction. Hopefully I'll expand this later with more notes on the phonemes and grammar, but I think this is alright for a start.

Differentiation and urheimat

[edit]

I suggest a section on the theorized time and place of origin of the language. I am not aware of papers which have explored this, but it is likely that a few exist.  — Jaspet 15:01, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit: I somehow overlooked the mention of Lounsbury (1961) on the page. It would be nice if there were more sources, however, and if so they could be used to separate such information into its own section of the page.  — Jaspet 15:03, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
