Recent disruption

[edit]

Thank you for taking care of the disruption SilentResident. This is caused by Turkish media reports during the last couple of days, that dispute Greek sovereignty over Pserimos, and the right of militarization for defensive purposes. For example:

Keçi Adası is the Turkish name for Pserimos. I did notice these reports myself, and was certain that disruption was imminent; so, i added the article to my watchlist a couple of days ago, and also decided to check the respective Turkish article, which naturally wasn't excluded from this disruption. User:LostMyMind took care of it initially, and then i followed, but the individual/individuals behind these edits is/are persistent; see the revision history of the Turkish article. LostMyMind, i won't be able to constantly check the respective Turkish article, thus, i would appreciate if you could please keep a closer eye to it, being an active user in Turkish Wikipedia. Hi @Demetrios1993:, I came across it while on patrol. Now I added it on my watch list. I will follow the changes. --LostMyMind (talk)
@Demetrios1993 and LostMyMind: Noted, and thank you both. It is important that the Wikipedia Project is shielded from any such surges caused by low-level populist politics and nationalist propaganda in the region. --- SilentResident (talk ✉ | contribs ✎) 07:29, 5 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
