Proposed Deletion?[edit]

What are people's specific arguments regarding why this article should be deleted?

It clearly fails WP:DICTDEF. I don't know what other arguments were made. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 04:35, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Examples?[edit]

It would probably help for this article to offer a few examples. Here's one...

Even if right now some dude said 'I'm going to say a bunch of racist stuff but afterwards I'll give you a biscuit' I’d be like that’s a weird deal but I'll take it. Because I hate racism...but I love a good biscuit. - Aziz Ansari

...can anybody offer some better ones? --Xerographica (talk) 14:14, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A bet is a tax on bullshit[edit]

Overall, I am for betting because I am against bullshit. Bullshit is polluting our discourse and drowning the facts. A bet costs the bullshitter more than the non-bullshitter so the willingness to bet signals honest belief. A bet is a tax on bullshit; and it is a just tax, tribute paid by the bullshitters to those with genuine knowledge. - Alex Tabarrok, A Bet is a Tax on Bullshit

Any objections to including this in the entry? --Xerographica (talk) 01:32, 20 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Other than it's an inappropriate quote, and the article should be deleted? No. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 04:37, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
