Peer Review (Ecology Assignment)[edit]

Awesome article. Easy to read, yet informative and interesting.

Keep up the good work!

Further feedback[edit]

I have corrected what I perceived as misleading information on this species' distribution. Based on the IUCN reference, I don't think it was correct to state just that it is native to the US and is found in the Great Lakes. Key features are that it is endemic to the US, and I have added the full list of states given in that reference. I wouldn't normally bother to give feedback of this sort (and would simply just correct the article). However, as this looks to be a school/college assignment I'd urge the page creator to be careful in future not to mislead by omission, especially when the full information is readily available and already cited. Once a Wikipedia page gets past New Page Review, it gets picked up and repeated by many other websites, so amplifying any errors or omissions of this sort.

Do consider adding a line about its habitat (found in the IUCN redlist reference, and perhaps add its IUCN status of 'Least Concern' to the speciesbox. Don't forget to fix the category issue (often best done by seeing what categories have been used on the pages of similar species). And you'll note it also has a synonym (Anodonta lacustris) which should be added to the speciesbox. Well done for making your first edits here - hope to see much more from you in the future!).
