Notability and sources

[edit]

While I'm not entirely alien to the idea of simply merging the article on the book with the article on Beauvoir, the actual philosophical content of the book justifies a larger article. However, as I do not have an English translation of the work, I will probably not be able to give a complete account of the book in terms of the translated concrete contents (the philosophical content, however...). I created the article because the essay contains some of the most basic elements of Beauvoir's philosophy, and as such it should be on Wikipedia. When it comes to secondary sources, I mainly read primary literature, so I can only refer to the contents of the work. I know that's probably not the best way to go about things, but I hoped someone else would be able to supply such things; perhaps starting the article would be enough to get people to start supplying stuff.
