It has been my experience that not all Intel based Apple computers come with Atheros 802.11 chipsets. Mrsteveman1 07:40, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

The "OSS" in "thus OSS support for Atheros hardware is rather limited" links to a page called "Operations Support Systems," which seems to have precisely nothing to do with the topic of wireless chips, drivers, or software. Offhand I would guess that "OSS" on the present page is supposed to mean "open source software," but the abbreviation is never defined, so the reader cannot know for sure. I fixed the link, but that entire paragraph is inaccurate and dated at this point, so it should probably just be removed. It is also highly inconsistent since the 2 paragraphs below it provide direct contradiction to the idea that Atheros provides no support for open source software. If no one has any objections I'll delete it soon and update the section a bit, since even the factually correct statements are dated at this point. Mrsteveman1 (talk) 23:35, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
