Assessment as of March 2007[edit]

Hello all, and thank you for contributing to this school site. I'm part of the Wikipedia:WikiProject_Schools/Assessment team, and I'm reviewing this page. I'm currently giving it a grade of Start on the Wikipedia 1.0 Assessment Scale and an importance of Mid on this importance scale.

My reasoning is as follows: Lists should be made into tables/paragraphs. Much of this information is only of local interest. Adam McCormick 04:21, 10 March 2007 (UTC)--64.134.233.184 (talk) 22:49, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I think your assessment has been fair and balanced.--64.134.233.184 (talk) 22:49, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Who's Who Embarrassment[edit]

Please note that those Who's Who promoted by Marquis are not considered reliable & meaningful. Forbes Magazine labeled it "Hall of Lame". See this critigue of Who's Who Section 4. 。The only reliable scientific referral in North America is American Men and Women of Science See Princeton referral Princeton University Library --QES girl (talk) 05:08, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a comment on the article on Queen Elizabeth School, Hong Kong. I am Peter Y. Woo, a retired math professor of Biola University, and I have the honor of being mentioned in the list of 10 alumni with accomplishments in the past decade. Please drop my name because I don't think I deserve it.

On the other hand I would recommend Dr Grace Y. Sun of U. of Missouri to be on the list instead of me. Please see http://biochem.missouri.edu/faculty/faculty-members/sung/index.php for her accomplishments. She is my cousin, who was in Queen Elizabeth School from 1954 to 57, from Form 3 to Form 5. Before that she was with me at Yaumati Government School from 1951 to 54. We were in the same grade, but different classrooms. Her accomplishments in biochemistry is enormous. I don't know whether she has published over 100 papers. See http://www.biochem.missouri.edu/features/ff-sun-weisman/index.php

As for myself, I have enjoyed plenty of accolades and honors, more than 99.5 percent of humanity could have, and so I have lived a very fortunate and happy life. So please replace my name with someone else more accomplished. You may forward this note to anybody responsible for the article on Queen Elizabeth School. Thank you very much.

Sincerely, Peter Y. Woo, woobiola@yahoo.com,
