Edit warring and citing sources[edit]

Please stop being rude to each other, and please cite your sources. For conflicting viewpoints, you can list both takes, while attributing the takes in-line to various sources. Example: "a source says that b happened, while c source says that d happened. There is conflict because of e, and f is at stake".

But most importantly, please cite sources and do not perform your own WP:ORIGINALRESEARCH. Only write analysis that comes directly from a scholar. Unsourced stuff is next to useless. toobigtokale (talk) 00:05, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well said. The key step to improving articles (and winning disputes...) is finding and citing reliable sources. If folks keep edit warring about unreferenced content, per WP:V, we can just "solve it" and blank the related section.
