5th tallest bridge in Europe[edit]

According to List of tallest bridges, the only bridges in Europe which are taller are the Millau Viaduct, Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge (connects Europe and Asia), Great Belt East Bridge, and Pont de Normandie. Rob984 (talk) 22:39, 27 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Bridge design[edit]

Why is there no section on design? Are engineering drawings available?

And perhaps some discussion of why the cost of the project was so exorbitant. Was it the elevation of the connecting roads, which necessiated a high bridge and massive support towers? Such things are not immediately obvious to the uninformed reader.

Completion Date[edit]

The original completion date was NOT December 2016. This was a revised date, because work was a head of schedule and under budget, but the winter weather delayed work, and put it back.
