inaccurate viewing figures?[edit]

anybody know why the viewing figures in the table largely don't match up with the archived version of the website for series 1? i did the figures for s3 and am working on it for s2, and i assume the 5 city metro column is the one that's meant to be used, but for series 1 they largely are different. not all too familiar with the tv tonight source, or how ratings really work. the person who initially put them in has since been banned from wikipedia i think, so if anyone else could chime in w help that'd be amazing!
