I'm working on this article. I find that writing and dealing with the reference formats etc at the same time is a bit too complex. But I will slowly clean things up to conform with Wikipedia standards. Feel free to do some clean-up of your own if you wish. My interest is in content, although I know it's important to use standard formats and approaches. I have to sort out the links for a list, such as the early practitioners. Most have web pages, external to Wikipedia. I don't know whether to include the pages or not. I'll keep looking for examples. Threadbear 04:02, 30 September 2007 (UTC) Truthnotignorance (talk) 03:54, 9 November 2010 (UTC)I fear this will turn out a waste of time because we arent going back to proper definitions. A quilt is a quilt, textiles are fabric or kind and fibre is thread or kind. The true value of working with textiles and fibre is only going to be credited properly if we agree on something like a precise definition. Maretta[reply]

what a strange and unrepresentative list of quilt artists!!! why not list the acknowledged giants of the field like Nancy Crow, Michael James, Jan Myers-Newberry and Joan Schultze? Kathy annie laurie (talk) 04:37, 9 November 2010 (UTC) kathy annie laurie[reply]
