Bergstaden which means "the mining town".. bergstaden actually translates to mountain town and not mining town... somebody should edit the FP — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.157.246.165 (talk) 06:49, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Close to minus 50 with heavy wind" - this is impossible, these extreme temperatures is only possible with high pressure weather, thus no wind. Minus 25 and heavy wind is possible near Røros, though. Orcaborealis 20:05, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I read that too, and thought... year right, that's bs. I was going to add a request for a citation, but my boss was coming my way, so I had to close the window. :-) I'll just go ahead and remove that claim. Jerazol 20:14, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New weather box

[edit]

I have done some work and I suggest we replace the existing weather box with this one. Some text: All the record lows are old, the most recent (Dec) from 1978, while 7 of the monthly records highs are from year 2000 and later.
