Light novel(s)[edit]

I don't agree with the move to R-15 (light novels). It's clumsy and, I believe, very unnecessary. There is more than one novel in the series, but it is still one light novel series, not a collection of unrelated novels. I wouldn't agree with the title change unless there were multiple series with equal importance. Kanjo Kotr (talk) 09:09, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[1] There doesn't appear to be a set standard as far as disambiguation of light novels goes. But most title disambiguations in other subject areas are singular. —Farix (t | c) 12:34, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the results and the article history, there are 8 other articles with the light novel disambiguations not counting this one. Of those 4 use (light novel) and 4 use (light novels). Of the latter group, 2 originally started out with the (light novel) disambiguation and 1 had (novel). That demonstrates that (light novel) is probably the more intuitive disambiguation. —Farix (t | c) 12:48, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've opened a discussion about the proper disambiguation for light novels at the Book WikiProject. —Farix (t | c) 19:40, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
