RAMIS (software)

RAMIS is the name of the product. Ramis is a last name. "Ramis Software" is neither a person nor a software product. Other ideas, such as "RAMIS DBMS" or "RAMIS Data Base" were not as common as "RAMIS database" - but that was not an official name, just a part of a sentence, such as "NYC Department x has using using their RAMIS database since 19xx for ..."
