RBC Bank → RBC Bank (Georgia), N.A. – RBC Bank should redirect to Royal Bank of Canada given the fact that "RBC" is the common abbreviation for the Canadian bank (and parent company), and this "bank" is not even a full-scale bank like CIBC Bank USA, BMO Harris Bank, or TD Bank, N.A., it's merely a division of Royal Bank of Canada specializing in cross-border transactions and financial services for Canadians traveling in the United States. RBC Bank (Georgia), N.A. is not the primary topic of the article title "RBC Bank". TrailBlzr (talk) 03:01, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
- Do people really call the Canadian one "Royal Bank of Canada Bank"? Dekimasuよ! 03:24, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
- No. neither bank is ever referred to as "Royal Bank of Canada Bank". Not sure what the point is here. TrailBlzr (talk) 03:45, 15 September 2019 (UTC)
- I think the argument here is that since RBC is Royal Bank Of Canada having RBC Bank redirect to the Royal Bank of Canada article insulates that people often call it the the Royal Bank Of Canada Bank mainly due to the fact that bank is already part of the RBC acronym.--67.68.29.177 (talk) 03:08, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

- Support www.rbcroyalbank.com simply because it is confusing, and much bigger. In ictu oculi (talk) 09:09, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. I don't know why www.rbcroyalbank.com is an alternate site address, but the request here does not involve the title "RBC Royal Bank" in that web address. The normal bank site appears to be www.rbc.com (which doesn't parse as "Royal Bank of Canada Royal Bank", and they do not use the form "RBC Bank" on the page, preferring "RBC is..." multiple times). The official name of the website wouldn't be a great argument in favor of a change anyway. Dekimasuよ! 06:12, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. The Royal Bank of Canada is referred to as the RBC, not the RBC Bank. That would be a tautology. The existing hatnote is fine. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:00, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
